Proofs

Dear Ones,

If we need PROOF to believe, make sure we also have PROOF to DENY. At the very least, "believing by seeing" is still better than "denying by not seeing" -- one should stay neutral with empty mind before he/she can deny something without seeing anything.

No doubt, EVIDENCE can be used not only for PROVING TRUTH, it can also be used for DENYING TRUTH. Therefore, your sole belief in EVIDENCE can become your greatest enemy that fools you with EVIDENCE. Humans do not need evidence to live on happily and peacefully, they only need love and compassion to live on happily and peacefully. You can't rely on evidence to prevent fraud as you can also be cheated by fraudulent evidence.

Use your mind to control your eyes, not your eyes to control your mind.

Namaste... (-.-)

"As the matter of fact, all proofs need proofs, and the ultimate proof still back to human mind." (Antonio, 2010)

It's your soul that tells you how to live in real, not the proofs. (-.-)

Extracted from Antonio's Zen Dialog #7: Proof

At a very silent night of a Zen temple, suddenly a monk shouted: "UFO! UFO!" Everyone in the temple, including the Zen Master, rushing out and see if they can witness anything interesting.

Witness: Look at that bright lights! Keep changing shapes and colours! It must be an alien spacecraft!

Skeptic Monk: It could be just an aeroplane or a bunch of blinking stars, nothing so special!

Witness: Apparently, it is a non-ordinary lights! You think that I've never seen an aeroplane or stars before?!

Skeptic Monk: How can prove it since it is so far away that all of us can't even decide whether it is an UFO or stars?!

After ending the argument, the skeptic turn to his master and say: "Master, tonight the sky is so beautiful...the moon is so bright and round...and the stars are all the over..."

Zen Master: "Oh yea? Prove it! Prove to me that why you think it is a moon and all those blinking lights are stars!"

Skeptic Monk: "Master...don't you think that the beauty does not need proofs..." (-.-)

Zen Master: "Since it is so beautiful, why did you need to prove whether it was a UFO or a star? If it wasn't a star, you no longer take it as a BEAUTY? Furthermore, neither you can reach the stars, but why are you so sure that they're stars but not alien light ships?"

Skeptic Monk: "Errr....." '=.=

Zen Master: "We spent our whole lifetime seeking for PROOFS just to defend our own views, but in the meantime, we also wasted our whole lifetime blocking our own view to see the whole beauty in life. Think about it."

Then the Zen Master just walk away. (-.-)

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The Zen Master is not trying to defend the existence of UFO, neither he is trying to deny the beauty of the night skies, he is direct pinpointing the human mind in general in seeking for proofs and missing the whole beauty in life.
